What Season 3 of The Head
The third season of The Head takes the team of scientists to Bir Tawil, a lawless territory in the middle of the desert. There, they must continue the research Dr. Wilde left unfinished. They soon discover they can't rely on their means of transportation, because the helicopter and the truck are put out of commission. Then, the water supplies are found riddled with holes, and survival becomes the top priority. The dangers don't come only from the environment. The threat also comes from the people sharing the camp, and the group has to learn to protect itself.

But after an uninvited visitor and an unexpected death, Maggie and Rachel fear their worst nightmare is happening all over again.

3x06 Episode XVIII Season Finale
When Rachel goes into labor, a brief truce occurs with Maggie, who helps deliver her baby. Shortly after, an unexpected downpour saves them both from dehydration, but only briefly, as the killer ultimately strikes again. Later, the identity of XX is revealed.
