What Season 1 of V

Fifty mothership saucers land over the world's major cities. Their occupants look human, although they wear special glasses to protect their eyes, and they call themselves the Visitors. They claim to come in peace from a distant planet and ask for help obtaining chemical products their world needs. Journalist Michael Donovan sneaks onto one of the ships and discovers that these beings are carnivorous reptiles. He then finds out that they are keeping thousands of missing people in suspended animation. When he tries to expose it, he becomes a fugitive. Now his priority is his family, especially his son Sean, while a resistance led by Julie plans to sabotage the alien scheme.
