Fifty mothership-style saucers land over the world's major cities. Their occupants look human, although they need special glasses to protect their eyes, and they call themselves the Visitors. They say they come in peace from the fourth planet of Sirius and ask humanity for help obtaining chemical products their world urgently needs. Journalist Michael Donovan manages to sneak aboard one of these ships and discovers that, beneath their disguise, the aliens are reptiles with carnivorous tastes. Soon he finds out something worse: they store thousands of missing people in suspended animation. When he tries to expose it, the broadcast is cut off and Donovan becomes a fugitive. Created by Kenneth Johnson for NBC, the series stars Marc Singer as its lead.
