Synopsis of Lost in Space
The Robinson family, made up of John, Maureen and their children, is chosen for the 24th mission of the Resolute, an interstellar ship carrying selected families to the Alpha Centauri system. A celestial body nicknamed the "Christmas Star" by the media has struck Earth years earlier and threatens human survival. While the ship is still on its way, an alien robot pierces its hull. The crew is evacuated in short-range Jupiter shuttles, and dozens of colonists, including the Robinsons, crash on a nearby habitable planet. There they must survive a strange environment, confront their own demons and look for a way back to the Resolute. Netflix streams the series, starring Toby Stephens and Molly Parker.
