Andromeda

Andromeda is a science fiction series created by Gene Roddenberry and aired on Syfy, starring Kevin Sorbo. The story takes place thousands of years in the future, in the Commonwealth of Systems, a utopian society based on the principles of Tarn-Vedra that has brought peace to all known worlds and spans three galaxies. This civilization, more than 10 000 years old, is slowly approaching an abyss. The Nietzscheans, one of its member species, disappointed by the failed peace attempts with the Magog, decide to bring down the Commonwealth. Captain Dylan Hunt commands the starship Andromeda Ascendant, whose powerful artificial intelligence he has nicknamed Andromeda, or Rommie. When the ship is disabled in a surprise attack, at the first clash of the Nietzschean rebellion, Hunt orders the crew to abandon it.
