Synopsis of Andor

Andor is a series created by Tony Gilroy and starring Diego Luna, who reprises the role of Cassian Andor, the character from Rogue One. The story takes place five years before the events of that film and follows a thief trying to make a living in a galaxy ruled by the Galactic Empire. Cassian is a cynical man who wants nothing to do with causes or revolutions, but a series of encounters with rebel agents and Imperial officials pushes him to take a risk. He is joined by an ensemble cast that includes Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O'Reilly, and Kyle Soller. The series airs on Disney+ and covers the years when the Rebel Alliance begins to take shape under an Empire that tightens its grip on the population.
