Giant spaceships appear over some of the world's most important cities, and their leader, Anna, a charismatic woman, claims the Visitors have come in peace. In exchange for a small share of Earth's resources, they offer advanced medical and technological knowledge. But some humans begin to doubt their intentions. FBI counterterrorism agent Erica Evans uncovers a disturbing truth: the aliens are reptiles who have spent years infiltrating governments, corporations and hospitals. Erica joins a resistance movement alongside Jack, a priest with doubts of his own, and Ryan, a defecting Visitor who can resist Anna's hypnotic control. Both sides want to save Earth from the threat the leader poses. The series was created by Scott Peters and Kenneth Johnson, airs on ABC and stars Elizabeth Mitchell and Morena Baccarin.
