Synopsis of Blindspot

Blindspot begins when a woman with no memory of her past is found naked in Times Square, inside a travel bag. Her body is covered in intricate tattoos, and no one knows who she is or how she got there. The FBI takes her into custody and assigns the case to Kurt Weller, leader of an elite Bureau unit. The agents discover that each tattoo is a clue to a crime, so the team must solve crimes one by one while trying to uncover the identity of the woman who carries them on her skin. Created by Martin Gero, the series aired on NBC and stars Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton.

Trivia about Blindspot

In the third season, Spanish actor Miquel Fernández makes a starring appearance as an informant whom Roman hires in Barcelona.

The character of David Wagner, played by Joe Dinicol, was inspired by David Kwong, who works as a puzzle consultant for the series.

The episode titles seem to be made up of three nonsensical words, but they are anagrams; for example, "A Stray Howl" can be decoded as "Taylor Shaw."

The titles of episodes 10 through 22 of season two are written as reversible anagrams, a device that also appears in the final episode.

The series received three consecutive Emmy nominations for stunt coordination, for 2017, 2018, and 2019, with Christopher Place as coordinator.

In 2015, it won the television critics’ award for Best New Series That Excites Most, and earned two wins and nine nominations in total.

NBC renewed the series for a final, fifth season in May 2019; executive producer Martin Gero later explained that they needed to wrap up the story in eleven episodes.
