Synopsis of Ben 10: Omniverse

Ben Tennyson accidentally discovers a hidden underworld of alien outcasts beneath the city of Bellwood. Waiting for him are old enemies seeking revenge, new and deeply strange creatures, and other beings even more dangerous. His main weapon is the Omnitrix, a prototype watch that lets him transform into different aliens, each with its own abilities. The series alternates between two timelines: that of an eleven-year-old Ben, one year after the original series, and that of a sixteen-year-old Ben, a few months after Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. Both realities come together in a single story, in which the younger Ben faces villains from his own continuity, both old and new. Created by Man of Action, a group made up of Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly and Steven T. Seagle, the series airs on Cartoon Network.

Trivia about Ben 10: Omniverse

Episode 74, "Dos Santos's Secret," was initially censored in Latin America because Ben and his transformation into Rath had Mexican accents and expressions, something the American version also reflected.
In episode 21, "Thank Goodness It's Secret Saturdays," the characters from Secret Saturdays appear in a crossover after that series was canceled in 2010.
Mr. Ignacius Baumann and his relationship with Ben serve as a parody and cameo of Dennis the Menace, due to the constant accidents Ben causes to his car and his belongings.
Episodes 49 and 50 were supposed to air at the end of season 5, but they were swapped with the start of the 6 season due to a mix-up with the opening sequences.
The concept art, described as a tribute to the original series, was designed by Derrick J. Wyatt and was first shown at the 2012 Toy Fair in the United Kingdom.
Instead of seasons, the series aired in eight story arcs of ten episodes each, an unusual release structure for the franchise.
Production on "Ben 10: Omniverse" began with 40 episodes ordered, rose to 60 in August 2012, and ended up expanding to 80 in June 2013.
