Synopsis of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

In present-day New York City, ninjutsu master Hamato Yoshi, also known as Splinter, walks through Manhattan with his four pet turtles. An encounter with the Kraang, an alien race, exposes everyone to mutagen, a chemical substance that causes physical transformations in living organisms. Yoshi develops rat-like features, and the turtles develop human features. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo live in the city's sewers and, for the first time, venture to the surface to face the enemies threatening New York. The series, created by Ciro Nieli, Joshua Sternin and Jennifer Ventimilia, airs on Nickelodeon, with Rob Paulsen, Sean Astin and Greg Cipes among its voice cast.

In June 2014, it was announced that Seth Green would replace Jason Biggs as the voice of Leonardo in season three.
