Trivia about The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Josh Fine and other creators of the series first developed a project about Hulk, which never got past the script stage.

Josh Keaton was going to reprise the role of Spider-Man, but was replaced by Drake Bell, who had already voiced the character in Ultimate Spider-Man.

After being announced for early 2012, the second season was finally set for April 1, 2012.

The series was nominated for Best Sound Editing in Animation for Television at the 2011 Golden Reel Awards.

Alex Zalben of MTV ranked it first on his list of the best Avengers cartoons.

The series was not renewed for a third season, and its successor arrived in 2013 with Avengers Assemble.

Season one has a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an average score of 7.50 out of 10 based on 5 reviews.

Joshua Fine explained that the short character introduction episodes were designed to introduce each hero individually before forming the main team, rather than bringing them all together in the first episode.
