Dipper and Mabel Pines are twelve-year-old twins who live in Piedmont, California. Their parents send them to spend the summer with their great-uncle Stan, who runs a tourist attraction called the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls, a fictional town in Oregon. The siblings' vacation plans are derailed, and they arrive in a town that is anything but ordinary. Shortly after their arrival, Dipper stumbles upon a mysterious journal describing the many paranormal and mythical creatures that inhabit the area. Along with Wendy Corduroy, the shack's cashier, and Soos Ramirez, his assistant, the twins help Stan run the business while they investigate the town's mysteries. The series, created by Alex Hirsch, airs on Disney Channel and Disney XD. Jason Ritter voices Dipper, and Kristen Schaal voices Mabel.
