Synopsis of Dead to Me

Jen Harding is a real estate agent from Laguna Beach, California, who has just been widowed. As she tries to cope with her loss through therapy, exercise and plenty of anger, she starts attending a grief support group, where she meets Judy Hale, a cheerful and unconventional woman who seems to be hiding something. An unexpected friendship forms between them, leading them to share confidences and frustrations. Jen, meanwhile, refuses to accept that the accident that killed her husband will go unpunished, and she wants to find the driver who fled the scene. The series blends dark humor and drama about grief. Liz Feldman created it for Netflix, and Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini lead the cast.
