Synopsis of Young Sheldon
Texas, 1989. Sheldon Cooper is nine years old and has an extraordinary intellect, capable of handling advanced math and science. In East Texas, where church and college football sit at the center of life, that gifted mind doesn't always help him much. Sheldon starts at Medford High School alongside his older brother, Georgie, who is less bright than he is, and he needs to fit in among classmates who don't understand him. At home, his deeply religious mother, Mary, constantly clashes with his scientific skepticism, while his father, George, tries to understand him as best he can. Narrated by adult Sheldon, the series follows how the boy learns to deal with the world and how his very conventional family learns to deal with him.
«It all started with a big bang—or rather, in East Texas.»
