Synopsis of Liv and Maddie
Liv Rooney, a very feminine actress, returns to Stevens Point, Wisconsin, her hometown, after four years in Hollywood filming the TV series Sing It Loud! Her parents, brothers and twin sister Maddie welcome her with open arms. Maddie is an athletic girl with a special talent for basketball. The two had hoped to stay close as they were before Liv left, but over time they have become opposite personalities. The series follows these identical twins as they try to reconnect in a family full of rivalries and mischief. Created by John Beck and Ron Hart, the comedy airs on Disney Channel and stars Dove Cameron in the dual role of the sisters. Joey and Parker, the younger brothers, round out a family with plenty of personality.
