Synopsis of The Goldbergs
The Goldbergs is a comedy that airs on ABC and was created by Adam F. Goldberg. Set in the 1980s in Jenkintown, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it follows Adam, a 11-year-old who films everything that happens in his family with his video camera. Beverly, played by Wendi McLendon-Covey, is an overprotective mother who meddles in her children's lives and manipulates them through emotional blackmail. Murray, the father, played by Jeff Garlin, is a grumpy man who believes his wife is smothering the kids. The older siblings, Erica and Barry, round out a household where arguments flare up at all hours. Adam wants to capture on video the everyday chaos while his family tries to coexist without losing their minds.
