Synopsis of The Bear
Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto is a fine-dining chef with experience in New York restaurants. After his older brother Michael's suicide, he inherits the Italian beef sandwich shop his family runs in Chicago and returns to his hometown to take charge. There he faces Michael's unpaid debts, a rundown kitchen and a rebellious staff who make things hard for him. Carmy has to keep the restaurant afloat while carrying his own grief and the trauma of a family defined by loss. The series, created by Christopher Storer, streams on Hulu and stars Jeremy Allen White.
