Synopsis of The Chi
The Chi is an American drama series created by Lena Waithe for Showtime and set on Chicago's South Side. It follows the life of a neighborhood through four characters: Emmett, Brandon, Ronnie and Kevin. Everything changes when an unexpected event shakes the entire community. That event connects the lives of the main characters in ways no one could have foreseen, and each must react from their own situation. Jacob Latimore, Shamon Brown Jr. and Yolonda Ross lead the cast, while family members, friends and neighbors try to move forward in a neighborhood that is no longer the same.
