Synopsis of Bel-Air
Will is a 16-year-old teenager raised on the West Side of Philadelphia, smart, a avid reader, and used to surviving on the streets. His mother, Vy, decides to send him to live with his aunt Vivian and uncle Philip, a wealthy family living in the gated mansions of Bel-Air, in Los Angeles. The cultural clash is immediate. Caught between the flashy lifestyle of his cousins Hilary, Carlton and Ashley and the elitist world of the Black upper class, Will must find his place without giving up who he is. The series, developed by Morgan Cooper with Malcolm Spellman, TJ Brady and Rasheed Newson, streams on Peacock and stars Jabari Banks as Will. From the first episode, the story puts racial and class tensions front and center as the lead tries to adjust to a life very different from the one he knew.
«In the end, it's all love.»
