Synopsis of Wu-Tang: An American Saga
New York, early 1990s. The crack epidemic hits the city's neighborhoods, and amid its dangers and excesses, Bobby Diggs, known as RZA and played by Ashton Sanders, comes of age. Diggs looks for his own way out and finds it in rap. Standing in his way is his older brother Divine, played by Julian Elijah Martinez, who sees drug trafficking as the path to a better life for the family. Diggs gathers a dozen young men torn between music and crime with the idea of forming a group, and that project becomes the seed of the Wu-Tang Clan. Created by RZA and Alex Tse and aired on Hulu, the series follows their road to fame as the group fights the forces that keep them down.
