Synopsis of The Last Ship
A global viral pandemic wipes out more than 80% of the world's population. Among the survivors, the 218 crew members of the USS Nathan James, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer of the U.S. Navy, are among the few who have not been infected by the virus. The ship is fictional, but its crew now lives in a world they no longer recognize. Eric Dane leads the cast of this post-apocalyptic series, whose goal is clear: find a cure and save humanity. The series, created by Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane, airs on TNT.
