Synopsis of Fallout

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic series created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet for Amazon Prime Video, starring Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten. It takes place two hundred years after the Great War of 2077, a nuclear exchange that brought down society. Many survivors took shelter in bunkers called Vaults, not knowing that several of them were used for social and psychological experiments. Lucy MacLean, a young woman who lives in Vault 33, decides to leave it to search for her father, who was kidnapped by raiders from the Wasteland. On the other side of the door, a devastated Los Angeles full of dangers awaits her. Along the way she meets Maximus, a squire of the Brotherhood of Steel. The series explores what happens when someone who has grown up sheltered faces for the first time the world their ancestors left behind.

Trivia about Fallout

Bethesda gave Nolan the freedom to create a story that respected the universe of Fallout without adapting any of the existing games.
The series is part of the franchise's canon, and its year 2296 is the furthest point in the future in which Fallout has taken place.
Some scenes of the wasteland were shot in Kolmanskop, a former mining town turned ghost town, and on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia.
In addition to Ramin Djawadi's score, the series includes licensed music in the style of the games, with songs by The Ink Spots and The Mills Brothers.
According to Amazon, Fallout drew 65 million viewers in its first 16 days of availability, behind The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in the platform's history.
The series' success boosted sales of the Fallout games, including the original, which according to Steam Charts saw the largest percentage increase in players, at 160%.
Tim Cain, the creator of the franchise, praised the adaptation in a YouTube video for capturing the atmosphere of the saga, as well as for its nods and characters.
Macaulay Culkin joined the second season in a recurring role described as that of a "mad genius" type of character.
