Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

A horrible family tragedy leads Jacob, 16 years old, to travel along the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine's home for special children. As he explores the dilapidated rooms and hallways, he realizes that the children who lived there (one of whom was his grandfather) were exceptional. Perhaps they were dangerous, perhaps there was a good reason to quarantine them on a deserted island; it may even be that they are still alive.
