Synopsis of Arcane
Arcane is set in Piltover and Zaun, two cities in the world of Runeterra that share a constant tension. Piltover is a prosperous metropolis known for its academy and its scientific advances. Zaun, its underground counterpart, struggles with poverty, crime and chemical pollution, with no central authority to govern it. In this setting, sisters Vi and Powder, both born in Zaun, are drawn into a growing conflict. They clash over opposing convictions and arcane technologies that divide their sides. The rivalry between the two cities splits families and friends apart, and the lead characters will have to decide which side they're on. The series, created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee, streams on Netflix and features Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell among its main voice cast.
