Synopsis of Freaks and Geeks
Lindsay Weir and her younger brother Sam start the 1980-81 school year at William McKinley High School in Chippewa, Michigan, a fictional suburb of Detroit. Lindsay joins a group of friends the rest of the school calls the "Freaks": Daniel Desario, Ken Miller, Nick Andopolis and Kim Kelly. Sam, meanwhile, spends his time with the "Geeks," Neal Schweiber and Bill Haverchuck, and has a crush on Cindy Sanders, the school's most popular cheerleader. Harold and Jean, the Weir parents, appear in every episode, while Millie Kentner, Lindsay's former best friend, is a recurring character. Created by Paul Feig and aired on NBC, the series follows how these teenage worlds collide in the everyday lives of the two siblings.
