Awkward.

Jenna Hamilton is 16 years old, has an almost nonexistent social life and the feeling of being invisible to everyone else. She attends a high school in Southern California, where her days pass among classmates who barely notice her. One day she receives an anonymous letter, written with cruelty, suggesting changes that would stop her from going unnoticed. Shortly afterward, she suffers a absurd accident that everyone interprets as a suicide attempt. Jenna decides to make the most of the situation and change the way she acts, so she starts gaining popularity among her classmates, though not always for the right reasons. Created by Lauren Iungerich and aired on MTV, the series stars Ashley Rickards, who plays a girl searching for her identity amid teen drama.
