Synopsis of Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23

June Colburn moves to New York from Indiana hoping to land her dream job, but discovers the position no longer exists. Out of work and without a place to live, she agrees to move in with Chloe, a carefree party girl who runs her apartment in a very unusual way. Whenever she needs roommates, she looks for housemates, asks them to pay rent in advance, and then behaves outrageously until they leave. Created by Nahnatchka Khan and aired on ABC, the comedy follows the clash between Dreama Walker, who plays June, and Krysten Ritter, who brings Chloe to life, as the two try to live together.

Trivia about Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23

In October, ABC changed the title again, this time to a partially censored version with the last four letters of "Bitch" hidden.

The series was first developed for Fox under the working title "You Can't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23," but it was not picked up for the 2009 fall season.

ABC aired six episodes from the first season during the second season, mixing them in out of order, which left some storylines very confusing on air.

In July 2014, Logo TV aired the complete series in the correct order, including the eight episodes that had never been broadcast on ABC.

At the first Critics' Choice Television Awards, held on June 20, 2011, the series was named one of the eight most exciting new series of the year by television critics.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the first season has an approval rating of 88% based on 41 reviews.

David Krumholtz plays Patrick Kelly, the creator of the graphic novel Shitagi Nashi (Tall Slut, No Panties), which is based on Chloe.

During the filming of one scene, Ray Ford had to hang upside down in a rig built for the production; union rules prevented him from staying in that position for more than 45 seconds at a time.
