Synopsis of The Equalizer
Robyn McCall is a mysterious woman who lives in New York with her teenage daughter, Delilah. A former CIA operative, she carries a past that few people know about and that continues to shape her. Using the skills she learned during her years of service, she decides to help those who have no one else to turn to. She acts as a kind of guardian angel and becomes a defender of those who cannot defend themselves. Meanwhile, she pursues her own redemption, a weight that hangs over every case she takes. The series was created by Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller and airs on CBS, with Queen Latifah in the lead role. Its premise rests on the tension between Robyn's family life and the justice she delivers on the street.
