Synopsis of Goliath
Billy McBride was once a brilliant lawyer and founding partner of the firm Cooperman McBride, but today he lives in a long-term hotel by the Santa Monica pier. Between drinks, he rarely sets foot in a courtroom anymore. An unexpected case arrives when his former firm must face a wrongful death lawsuit against Borns Technology, one of its most important clients. Billy reluctantly takes on the case and handles it with a team as unconventional as he is. The goal is to take a powerful company to trial and win a lawsuit that puts what's left of his career on the line. The series, created by David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro, streams on Amazon Prime Video and stars Billy Bob Thornton.
