The Darkest Hour

A group of Americans travels to Moscow just as an alien invasion of the city begins. Thermometers read 40 degrees during the most intense heat wave in Moscow's history. Two young people take cover under an abandoned police car in Red Square, now completely deserted. They are not looking for shade from the scorching heat. They are trying to avoid camouflaged aliens who have colonized the city. For several days, these young people and their companions have been forced to seek shelter underground, since the city, like the rest of the world, has been decimated by an alien threat. Now they must hide, have few supplies and desperately seek safety, something hard to find even in Moscow's greatest tourist attraction.
