Steven Universe

Steven lives in Beach City, a fictional seaside town, alongside the Crystal Gems, three alien warriors with superpowers who live in an ancient temple. Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl protect humanity from monsters and other threats. Steven is half human and half gem, and he has inherited the gem of his mother, Rose Quartz, the group's former leader. The Gems are survivors of an interstellar civilization that left its home thousands of years ago, and now they keep their base on Earth. Nearly all of their enemies are other Gems who pose a threat to the universe, so most adventures have a supernatural element. Steven wants to help them on their missions while he learns to control the powers he carries inside. Created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network, the series blends a child's everyday life with battles against alien creatures.
