Synopsis of Marvel's Avengers

The Avengers went their separate ways some time ago, and each of them has been going it alone. Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, realizes the team no longer exists and decides to reunite his former teammates to take on Red Skull, a villain backed by MODOK. Hawkeye, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Falcon, the group's newest member, join him. The heroes must learn to work together while trying to stop their enemies' plans. The animated series, created by Marvel Animation and aired in the United States on Disney XD, marks the first step toward reforming a team that has to come back together.

Trivia about Marvel's Avengers

Man of Action, the collective made up of Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle, developed the series and served as executive producer on its first two seasons.
According to Jeph Loeb, the series' producer, the goal was to closely mimic the tone and feel of the 2012 film The Avengers.
With 127 episodes spread across five seasons, it is Marvel's longest-running animated series, though Spidey and His Amazing Friends is expected to surpass it.
Season one has a 71% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an average score of 6.00 out of 10 based on 7 reviews.
At San Diego Comic-Con in 2017, Disney announced the fifth and final season, titled Avengers: Black Panther's Quest.
The series was the first production made at Marvel Animation's studio in Glendale, California, where pre-production, character design, animatics and post-production took place, while several South Korean studios handled the main animation and coloring.
Disney XD renewed the series for a second season on July 26, 2014, which premiered on September 28 of that same year.
Adrian Pasdar voiced Tony Stark in the first three seasons, but Mick Wingert took over the role starting with the fourth season, titled Avengers: Secret Wars.
