Synopsis of Animaniacs

Yakko, Wakko and Dot Warner are three inseparable, hot-headed and hyperactive siblings who return to television after twenty-two years away. They bring the usual chaos of the original series, but now they have to adapt to life in the 21st century. Each episode is made up of several shorts. In most of them, the three siblings have new adventures, and in the rest, Pinky and the Brain appear, still determined to take over the world. Wellesley Wild created the series, which streams on Hulu and combines physical and visual humor aimed at younger viewers with sharper satire that adults can appreciate.

Trivia about Animaniacs

A series preview presented at New York Comic Con in 2020 parodied Jurassic Park, with Spielberg caricatured as John Hammond.
Elena Prieto said she would return as Dot, but the voice directors never even contacted her, and she was replaced by Navid Cabrera.
On Cartoon Network Latin America, some scenes in several episodes were aired censored.
The first episode sparked controversy over a background gag in the song Reboot It, with signs reading Johnny 2: Telling Lies, starring Johnny Depp.
The first season has a 81% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 37 reviews, with an average score of 7.2/10.
Sherri Stoner, the series' original writer and voice actress, returned in 2023 as Slappy Squirrel in the final episode of the revival.
Hulu ordered a third season of ten episodes in February 2021, but in December 2022 announced it would be the last, bringing the revival to a total of 36 episodes.
