Synopsis of The Looney Tunes Show

Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck share a house in the suburbs of a big city. Bugs owns the house thanks to an invention, a carrot peeler that earns him royalties, while Daffy is his roommate. The two face everyday problems, many of them caused by the duck's carefree lifestyle. Around them is a neighborhood home to other classic franchise characters, such as Sylvester, Granny, Gossamer, Speedy Gonzales, and Piolín, each with their own problems. Created by Sam Register and aired on Cartoon Network, the series combines situational humor with half-hour episodes and musical shorts released under the Merrie Melodies name.

Trivia about The Looney Tunes Show

The series began as Looney Tunes Laff Riot, a project faithful to the classics that was announced in July 2009 but that executives shelved for failing to convince them.
The pilot for the shelved Looney Tunes Laff Riot project surfaced on September 4, 2020.
The series skips the laugh track, a staple of modern animated comedies such as The Simpsons.
On July 29, 2014, it was announced that the series would not get a third season, ending after two.
Along with mixed reviews, the series received three Primetime Emmy nominations.
Some fans posted hurtful comments online about animator Jessica Borutski, who was in charge of the new character designs.
Lola Bunny's performance, a creation of Tina Russo, along with her relationship with Bugs and Daffy, has been praised since the series ended.
Kristen Wiig won the BTVA Fan Award for Best Female Vocal Performance in a Supporting Role in 2011, for voicing Lola Bunny on the series.
