Revolution

Revolution is set in the year 2027, fifteen years after a worldwide blackout left the Earth without electricity in 2012. Engines, computers, and batteries were permanently rendered useless, and people have to learn to live without technology under the rule of military warlords and militias that emerged after the fall of governments. Ben Matheson lives with his children Charlie and Danny in a village near Chicago, and wears a small pendant around his neck. That object could be the key to understanding what happened fifteen years ago and, perhaps, to reversing its effects. Meanwhile, General Sebastian Monroe, who has proclaimed himself president of the Monroe Republic, is searching for the Mathesons. The series, created by Eric Kripke, airs on NBC and stars Billy Burke and Tracy Spiridakos in the main cast.
