Synopsis of Invasion
An alien species arrives on Earth and threatens to wipe out humanity. Created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil for Apple TV+, the series does not center on a single lead, but on a handful of ordinary people spread across different continents. Sam Neill, Shamier Anderson, Golshifteh Farahani and Shiori Kutsuna headline a cast that moves across countries and languages. Each character tries to make sense of the chaos growing around them as the threat advances. Events unfold in real time, so viewers see the invasion from several points on the planet at once. Everyone fights to survive and to find meaning in a world that is beginning to fall apart.
