+16Synopsis of Highlander: The Series
Duncan MacLeod is an Immortal who has lived in modern times for nearly four centuries, blending in with ordinary people. Together with his partner, Tessa Noël, he runs an antique shop and leads a quiet life. One day, a thief named Richie Ryan bursts into the shop and witnesses a confrontation between Duncan, the evil Immortal Slan Quince and Connor MacLeod, Duncan's relative and the star of the film franchise. Connor has come to ask him to return to the Game, the fight in which Immortals hunt one another to take each other's lives and win their Quickenings, and to take a stand for good against evil. The series, created by Gregory Widen and starring Adrian Paul, begins with that call to return to a battle Duncan thought he had left behind.
