Alphas

Five people with superhuman abilities, known as "Alphas," work together in New York City. They are Gary Bell, Cameron Hicks, Rachel Pirzad, Nina Theroux and Bill Harken, and their leader is neurologist and psychologist Lee Rosen, played by David Strathairn. The group operates under the protection of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, the criminal investigation arm of the U.S. Department of Defense. Their mission is to investigate crimes involving other suspected Alphas, and to stop these individuals from causing further harm. Each one brings a different ability, and each joins the group with their own story. Created by Zak Penn, the series airs on Syfy and in Spain it is broadcast on Cuatro.
