Synopsis of Task
In the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, FBI agent Tom Brandis, who returns to field work after a family tragedy, is put in charge of a special task force. His mission is to investigate a series of violent robberies targeting stash houses controlled by illegal motorcycle gangs. Among those involved is Robbie Prendergrast, a garbage collector who robs drug dealing spots run by local narcotics gangs. His niece Maeve, 21 years old, has been looking after Robbie's young children since his wife walked out almost a year ago. Brandis must gather agents and detectives from different departments while chasing the assailants. HBO series created by Brad Ingelsby and starring Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey.
