Synopsis of The Flash
Barry Allen is a forensic scientist with the Central City Police Department who works in a laboratory. One night, a lightning bolt destroys the lab and covers him in chemicals. After the accident, Barry discovers, with the help of lab technician Tina McGee, that his metabolism has changed and that he can now move at superhuman speed. He decides to use his new powers to protect a city full of criminals. Created by Danny Bilson and Paul De Meo and aired on CBS, the series initially focuses on Flash facing off against human criminals, including corrupt officers. Starring John Wesley Shipp, the story combines police investigation with the double life of a hero who must conceal his identity.
