Trivia about Marvel's Cloak & Dagger

Pokaski's script sat in a drawer for five years until Freeform executive Karey Burke found it and decided to take a chance on it.

According to the director of the first episode, Gina Prince-Bythewood, filming was three days away from starting, and they still hadn't found actors to play Tandy and Tyrone.

Pokaski didn't want to wait for a dolly to be set up, so the first season relies on plenty of handheld camera shots that define its visual style.

According to Pokaski, the first season includes at least a dozen Marvel-approved "easter eggs," plus a few more he slipped in himself.

Pokaski planned to make 100 episodes for the series and had a firm plan for five seasons.

The series premiere reached 1.64 million viewers over three days, a 78% increase over its initial airing and the biggest three-day gain for a Freeform debut.

Freeform renewed the series for a second season in July 2018, but canceled it on October 24, 2019 after two seasons.

Tandy and Tyrone reappeared in the third season of "Marvel's Runaways," which was scheduled to premiere on December 13, 2019.
