Trivia about X-Men

Fox ordered the series after backing the pilot for Pryde of the X-Men, but Saban did not have enough staff to produce in-house and hired Graz Entertainment to make the episodes in 1992.
The first episode aired unfinished because the South Korean studio AKOM delivered animation with errors that it refused to fix, and Fox could not wait.
The series was supposed to have 65 episodes, but its success led Saban to fund eleven more, though with a smaller budget due to Marvel's bankruptcy.
Producer Lauren Shuler Donner acquired the film rights to the series in 1994, laying the groundwork for the 2000 X-Men movie.
The success of the series helped Haim Saban sell Fox his next project, the live-action series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Capcom licensed the series' characters, which inspired the video game X-Men: Children of the Atom, the basis for the Marvel vs. Capcom subseries.
The team had to recast the voice actors because the first performances were considered too cartoonish; the recordings were made in Canada to cut costs.
For about a week, the creators had a dispute with Marvel over one episode: Marvel wanted to introduce Magneto and Apocalypse, but the team insisted on keeping the Sentinels as the main villains.
