Trust some. Fear the rest.

Poland, 1944. The country is occupied by the Nazis, and young Erik Lehnsherr is separated from his parents. The Germans transport them to a concentration camp, where certain death awaits. Erik wants to reach them and refuses to accept losing them. As he tries to get to them, the situation grows more and more dangerous, and the boy finds himself trapped in a setting he can't control. The film opens in this atmosphere at the end of World War II. Bryan Singer directs the film, which features Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry, among others.

Trivia about X-Men

Screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie was supposed to spend only three weeks on the script, but by October he still hadn't turned in his draft.
To play Mystique, Rebecca Romijn wore 110 individual silicone prosthetics, attached only at the edges and self-adhesive for the rest.
Singer first approached John Williams to compose the score, but Williams turned down the offer due to scheduling conflicts.
Wolverine's claws were designed so Hugh Jackman could put them on and take them off easily, and hundreds of pairs were made for him and his stunt doubles.
