Relic Hunter

Sydney Fox is a professor at Trinity College and, in her free time, a relic hunter who travels the world. Her goal is to recover historical artifacts and return them to museums or to the descendants of their original owners. On her travels she is joined by Nigel Bailey, her reserved British language assistant. From campus, the secretary Claudia, daughter of a major university donor, helps them with logistical problems. Each episode opens with a flashback showing how a relic was used or misused before it was lost, stolen or hidden. Then, in the present, a museum, a collector or a government hires them to track it down. To do so, they follow clues across the globe, solve puzzles and dodge traps, while rival hunters chase the same objects for money. The series was created by Gil Grant and stars Tia Carrere.
