Rhiannon Fish

Rhiannon Fish was born in Canada, but her career took off under the Australian sun.

At age four, she moved to Melbourne, where she began working in advertising before turning ten.

Her first major role came in 2003 with the series Neighbours, where she played Lisa Jeffries for two years.

It was her first real introduction to the industry.

In 2010, she joined the cast of Home and Away. The role of April Scott kept her busy until 2013, and she went on to film more than 300 episodes.

But Fish wanted to try her luck in the United States, and she didn't waste much time packing her bags.

So she moved to Los Angeles to look for roles away from daytime teen drama. The move across continents meant starting almost from scratch in the casting process.

The Shift to Cult TV Roles

In 2016, she joined the third season of The 100. She played Ontari, a dark character that contrasted with her earlier image on Australian television.

Because the CW series demanded a level of physical effort she hadn't experienced in her previous roles. This stage allowed her to connect with a massive international audience.

The American market embraced her right away.

While filming that series, she met actor Richard Harmon. They began dating in 2019. They have shared several projects and appearances at fan conventions around the world.

In 2018, she appeared in the film Occupation. It was a big-budget science fiction venture shot in her adopted country.

A Haven for Romantic Productions

In 2021, her career shifted toward fast-paced made-for-TV movies. She starred in The 27-Hour Day and shortly after in A Splash of Love in 2022.

These movies are usually shot in less than fifteen working days. It's a highly efficient production system that demands almost instant script memorization.

Audiences are looking for comfort, and she delivers it.

In 2023, she starred in My Norwegian Holiday. The story is set in Bergen, where her character searches for family roots during the winter holidays.

In 2024, she premiered A Prince in Paradise: The Royal Romance. The film is a direct sequel to an earlier title shot on locations in Australia and the Philippines.

Filming for this latest production had a B-movie budget and was shot entirely on location in Queensland.
