Campaign: 24 scenes
Each world introduces a new twist, and the last one mixes them all. One star for clearing a scene, two if you beat the reference time, and three if you also place no wrong clapperboards.
The usual
- The numbers show how many bombs touch that tile, counting the eight around it.
- Clapperboard: right-click, long press or clapperboard mode to flag where a bomb is.
- Open neighbors: if a number already has all its clapperboards, click it and the rest will open.
- Glitter bomb: if you open one, they all explode. The first click never fails.
Classic: Beginner 9×9 with 10 bombs, Intermediate 16×16 with 40, and Expert 30×16 with 99. On mobile, the Expert board can be rotated, and you can zoom in and move the board.
Campaign twists
- Smoke: hides the number until you open a neighboring tile.
- Tricked clue (±): the real number is one more or one less.
- Double spotlight: counts as 2. Mark it again to place a double clapperboard.
- VIP area: it won't open until you find the pass.
- Golden popcorn: 25 bonus points. There are also shaped boards, timed challenges and radar mode.
Scoring
- +1Each tile you open earns one point, including those opened by cascades.
- ★Clean board: bonus for difficulty or scene, plus an extra for speed and another for accuracy (correctly placed clapperboards).
- 3Retakes: in the campaign you get three. Each bomb uses one, and finishing a world gives one back.
In classic mode, each board is a single game. In the campaign, you keep going scene after scene until you run out of retakes or click End game and save. A good session typically earns 1,500–4,000 points.
