Amélie

Amélie Poulain (Audrey Tautou) is a young waitress living in Paris with a boundless imagination. One day, she finds a box of old objects that belonged to the previous tenant of her apartment. Amélie decides to return the box to its owner and see his reaction. Seeing the happiness it brings him, Amélie sets out to make others happy through small gestures. She helps her neighbors, her coworkers and her father, all while having fun with her mischievous schemes. But in her quest for other people's happiness, Amélie forgets about her own, until she meets Nino Quincampoix (Mathieu Kassovitz), a young photo collector who steals her heart.
