The most dangerous times in the world created the most dangerous group in the world.

In the mid-80s, the California neighborhood of Compton was one of the most dangerous places in the United States. When a group of young men turned their life experiences into brutally honest music that rebelled against authority, they gave a voice to a silenced generation. Following the meteoric rise of N.W.A. (made up of Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube and MC Ren), the film tells the story of how these young men forever revolutionized music and popular culture by showing the world what life in the ghetto was really like.
