What Season 2 of Abbott Elementary

Season two opens with the teachers of Willard R. Abbott Elementary back after the development week. Janine wants to bring the school up to the level of the town's private school, but resources are scarce and the administration isn't helping. The teachers try to help their students get ahead while dealing with constant obstacles and rivalries among colleagues. Janine is determined for everyone to succeed, and her ideas repeatedly clash with the reality of the school. The cameras follow Melissa, Barbara, Gregory, Ava, and Jacob in their daily lives. Between reading marathons, egg-related activities, and a Halloween that gets out of hand, the season shows what teaching in a public school with barely any resources is really like.
