What Season 5 of According to Jim

Season 5 kicks off with Jim ducking out of taking Kyle to his first day of school so he can go see a Cubs game. Jim is still a carefree dad and blues fan, always looking for the easiest way out. His laziness leads him into shortcuts that get him in trouble, and then he has to scramble to get out of them. Cheryl tries to bring some sanity to the house, but the problems keep piling up: her brother-in-law Ryan showers Dana with flowers and gifts, and Jim discovers that a blues mixtape he thought Cheryl had made for him while they were dating was actually recorded by an ex-boyfriend. On top of that, Jim secretly enters Cheryl in a charity contest. With Ruby, Gracie and Kyle, Jim is never a perfect dad.
